Just playing in our back yard. It was recently re-landscaped - at least half of it anyway.
They put down composite granite where grass wouldn't grow under a large loquat tree and added a river rock board. Not so kid friendly unless it's ok to use as a beach!
The granite is still soft enough to dig in like a sandbox and the rocks are too fun not to throw everywhere.
