After picking Jared up from work on a Saturday night we drove straight to Newport Beach where we stayed while going to Disney Land and other places. It's about a 20 min drive to Disney Land.
The next morning we stopped by the Temple before going to church.
After church we did some exploring on Balboa Island
There's a boardwalk all the way around it.
