I made some mittens for Aubrey as I couldn't find any plain white knitted mittens in any store - not even the Gap. She doesn't like scratchy feeling knit things so I used some Chenille yarn so it would be nice and soft. I used this pattern here, but I made the cuff longer so it could be folded or go well up the sleeve in a coat. I also used a double crochet stitch for the body (single for the thumb) and used a front post and back post double crochet stitch for the cabling on the tops of the mittens.
I also added the string of chains to go through the jacket.
