OUR NEW PLACE

After waiting a week for internet, we finally got it today - now I can catch up in my posts!

Here it is - our little duplex. 

 The left window is the kitchen and the right little bay window is the dining room.

 Here's the driveway from the road, our place is the first one on the left.

 The end of the driveway is the garages. Ours is the first one on the left.

 The little Meyer Lemon tree next to our garage - except now it only has one lemon left on it (hehe).

There are 6 orange trees in this back area and I'm not sure what that large tree behind our patio chairs are - I think it might be a fig or something.

 So nice to have a big long, quiet driveway to play on. Only 2 of us out of the 4 tenants park a car in the garage and the other is an older couple who don't go out much, so it's pretty quiet!

With the 6 orange trees in the back and 4 in the front (2 in front of our place) there's a total of 10 orange trees on our tiny lot!

The perfect little cutout between the kitchen and living room for my iphone dock and radio!

 I can't believe our desk fit perfectly in this spot. I don't know where it would have gone otherwise - or what else we would have put in this dead space in the kitchen. It's still a little clutter as I have't figured out where everything is going yet.

 This half of the kitchen is a huge empty space, I wish it was more counter top and cupboards! But it's the only space our shelves can go, so I guess it works. We want to get an island soon which will add more counter and storage space.

There were hook-ups so we bought this washer and dryer right before Christmas and it's so nice to have our own again - the last two years have been so annoying to have to go downstairs and pump the machine full of quarters!

The bathtub might be my least favorite of the whole house (can you see in the reflection - the pink tile?)

Our room - the only configuration our bed and side tables would fit!

Aubrey's room is still a mess so I didn't take a photo, but it looks pretty much the same as the last place!
